Immanhas scored the music.^[2] The film opened to moderate reviews from critics,^[3] but it was a commercial hit. The film was remade in Kannada as Anjada Gandu (2014) with Satish Neenasam and Subhiksha and in Telugu as Vinavayya Ramayya (2015) with Nag Anvesh and Kruthika.^[4][5]
