Nesam (Tamil: நேசம்; English: Affection) is a 1997 Tamil film directed by K. Subash starring Ajith Kumar and Maheswari, making her debut, in the lead roles. Goundamani, Senthiland Manivannan among others play other pivotal roles in the film, which has music composed by Deva. The film released on 14 January 1997 to mixed reviews.[1] The film was dubbed and released in Telugu as Prema Janta.[2]
