Paramasivan (English: Supreme Shiva) is a 2006 Indian Tamil-language action filmdirected by P. Vasu and produced by S. Ramesh Babu. The film features Ajith Kumarin the lead role with Laila, Vivek, Prakash Rajand Jayaram playing other pivotal roles. It was released on 14 January 2006 to mixed reviews and declared as a above average grosser.[1][2] The film was inspired from the Hindi-language film Kartoos (1999) starring Sanjay Dutt. It was dubbed into Hindi as Godfather Shiva.[3]
